Automotive Testing Expo Europe in Stuttgart

DEKRA showcases automotive services in development, homologation and quality assurance

28 May 2026

At the leading European trade fair for automotive testing, development, and validation – the Automotive Testing Expo 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany – DEKRA will again showcase its range of services for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. The trade show takes place from June 23 to 25. At the DEKRA booth in Hall 1 (booth 1520), experts from the DEKRA Automobil Test Center in Klettwitz, Germany, and the DEKRA’s location in Málaga, Spain, will be available to speak with visitors.

  • Comprehensive portfolio for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers
  • Official Euro NCAP test laboratory for active vehicle safety
  • New DEKRA Battery Test Center in Brandenburg, Germany
The test facilities and laboratories of the DEKRA Automobil Test Center can be experienced at the trade show booth through a highly detailed digital twin. The socalled Virtual Labs also include the new DEKRA Battery Test Center at the Klettwitz site, which went into operation last fall. Here, all types of battery tests are offered under one roof. Mechanical, performance, and environmental tests are supplemented by socalled abuse tests. In these tests, the batteries are subjected to stresses that far exceed normal use and simulate, for example, potential crash scenarios in road traffic.
DEKRA’s full range of services for the automotive and supplier industries spans from full-vehicle validation during development to type approval and homologation; in the product and component sector, it ranges from material and component testing to EMC and radio frequency testing. The focus is on vehicles and mobility services – in particular on automated and connected driving as well as electric vehicles. Services in the areas of cybersecurity and AI validation are also an important part of the portfolio and will play a major role at DEKRA’s booth at the Automotive Testing Expo. As part of this focus, a new cybersecurity tool, designed to support vehicle manufacturers and suppliers in meeting the growing demands of automotive cybersecurity festing and compliance, will be presented.
At Europe’s most modern test facility for validating active driver assistance functions and (highly) automated driving in Klettwitz, DEKRA offers testing and validation services for development, homologation, and market surveillance. As an officially accredited test laboratory for active vehicle safety, DEKRA contributes to the Euro NCAP program in both the passenger car and truck sectors.
DEKRA’s numerous laboratories and test sites – among others, in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, the U.S., and Asia – each have their own areas of focus: automated driving, wireless communication, charging technology, electromagnetic compatibility, and testing of electric motors and drive axles. Through this international network of test sites for connected, automated, and electric vehicles, DEKRA offers its customers services from a single source. DEKRA’s contributions to the conference program

DEKRA is also contributing its expertise to the conference program surrounding the Automotive Testing Expo Europe and the concurrently held ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo. DEKRA expert Thomas Jäger will discuss the urgency for connected and intelligent mobility deployments improving road safety. Robert Beltri Pinel from DEKRA Testing and Certification will explore the extent to which artificial intelligence can support and accelerate cybersecurity testing procedures in the automotive sector – not as a replacement for human expertise, but as a complement. Salvador Ruiz Sedeño will participate in a panel discussion on navigating safety of the intended functionality, functional
