DEKRA UK Consulting’s SIF exposure reduction expert Marcelino Arias and Daryl Wake, Director will be leading a seminar on a blueprint for safety transformation as one of the most pressing challenges facing organisations today: the prevention of serious injuries and fatalities in an increasingly complex operational environment.
Marcelino Arias has over 12 years of experience in SIF across chemical, oil and gas, pharma and manufacturing and about 30 years’ experience in engineering, management and safety. He has been involved in global business transformations where he has partnered with clients to strengthen leadership, culture, and Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention. Marcelino works extensively with executive teams to embed safety as a driver of organisational excellence and sustainable performance. He holds an Executive MBA and Engineering Masters, currently serves as Senior Consultant at DEKRA.
The talk, titled A Modern Blueprint for Serious Incident and Injury Prevention: Connect Exposure, Controls and Operational Performance, will also feature DEKRA's EMEA Senior Business Development Executive, Daryl Wake, a seasoned practitioner with deep expertise in risk reduction, safety leadership, and organisational culture transformation.
Preventing serious injuries and catastrophic events demands requires a systemic approach that connects exposure identification, control effectiveness, leadership capability, and organisational culture — and the discipline to sustain that approach across multi-site and global operations.
