BMW Network Performance Coach

Location - UK, South, Field Based Salary – Competitive + Company Car

Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us on one of DEKRA’s key accounts. The main aim of the Network Performance Coach is work with a designated number of automotive Retailers for a premium Brand to create sustained performance improvement across a range of topics.

You will deliver both intensive Retailer performance management programme coaching and fulfil ad-hoc business network support requests identified by BMW Group regional management teams.

With the aid of comprehensive programme specific online diagnostic tools, you will gather information and supporting evidence as part of your initial fact find and health check. You will then devise a Retailer/Group specific coaching plan and subsequently communicate this back to the Retailer/Group before commencing your coaching interventions.

These interventions will be largely through remote coaching sessions, complimented with some physical in-business coaching. Whilst this role is a hybrid role weighted towards remote one-to-one coaching session delivery, you may be required to travel nationwide in addition to serving a geographical area, and as such will require you to spend time away from home on overnight stays.

This is a key role working with one of our major clients and as such you will be required to influence change at all levels within the business in support of delivering the programme aims, objectives, key performance improvement measures and desired return on investment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key stakeholders internally and externally.

• Provide high-quality, structured and scheduled coaching interactions both remotely and physically as required to achieve programme specific objectives and key performance improvement measures

• Show initiative and have personal input into the continued development of programme content, diagnostics, tools, materials and coaching modules.

• Be able to adapt and create on-point, brand compliant remote coaching sessions applicable to the coaching needs identified

• Ensure that you are highly competent in the use of remote coaching delivery and meeting platforms.

• Organise and plan your own remote and in-Retailer coaching diary activity to provide maximum utilisation of your time in order to achieve agreed activity targets for both remote and physical interventions

• Ensure timely, accurate and transparent reporting of all planned and completed coaching activity

• Complete coaching session reports and any additional reporting activities as required

• Submit coaching session and/or visit reports in line with programme service level agreements

• Monitor Retailer performance and check they are on track to achieve desired coaching objectives.

• Support Retailers in the creation of their own SMART actions

• Gain a full understanding client technology and systems available to help you support desired performance improvement required by allocated Retailers

• Support the implementation of brand specific strategies, programmes and campaigns as and where applicable

• Work closely and collaborate with other members of your team when working on new project content and specific tasks

• Promote and obtain positive feedback from your Retailer coaching interventions and achieve the targeted volume and measures

• Promote DEKRA Automotive services, online tools, programme specific systems, I-Coach Group Training/Coaching and Self-Learning

• Provide cover as required to deliver I-Coach Group Training/Coaching sessions

• Contribute individual good news stories, photographs and statistical highlights to be shared with the client on a monthly basis and as and when required

• Support the achievement of overarching objectives, targets, key performance indicators whilst delivering sustainable behavioural change and performance improvement relating to all programme specific subjects

FORS Bronze Auditor – Job Purpose:

Field-based Fleet Operations Recognition Scheme (FORS) Bronze Auditors are required on an Associate basis, you will be responsible for conducting on-site audits of FORS members, to a defined criterion and identify action plans and best practise.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate must have experience of working in a transport environment and hold a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competency for a minimum of two years.
  • Complete and deliver Audit reports in accordance with the company’s templates and reporting guidelines. All reports must be legible, timely and accurate you must have great attention to detail.
  • Experience in assessing road transport operations, following quality management systems and processes.
  • You will be working alongside our client’s operators so you must always have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate with a diverse range of professionals.
  • Ability to process and interpret complex information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required including the ability to produce reports

Knowledge, Experience & Qualification:

  • Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme requirements ideally be a FORS Accredited Auditor to Bronze level.
  • Occupational road risk legislation and standards
  • The different road transport industry sectors
  • Relevant Health & Safety legislation
  • Operator licensing requirements
  • Full onboarding training will be provided

You must also be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Have the ability to make decisions and use own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with a diverse range of individuals

Auto Electrical Engineers - Associate

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this field-based role is to act as an associate for DEKRA Automotive Limited conducting Auto Electrical inspections to an exceptionally high standard ensuring quality, accuracy, efficiency and in a professional and courteous manner. The role will respond to instructions from our Stokenchurch based deployment centre that will arrange appointments on your behalf, broadly within a defined geographic region. There are several types of inspection covering such activities as investigation and diagnostic evaluations. You will complete all inspection reports within specified timescales that are subject to office appraisal for consistency and quality. You will use your own tools and equipment that must be current and conform to required legislation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities of this role representing DEKRA Automotive Limited are to deliver an outstanding customer experience, an exceptional inspection standard and present an extremely professional report.

• To represent DEKRA Automotive Limited delivering vehicle inspections at the clients’ address as directed by our office-based deployment team

• Complete and deliver inspection reports after each visit in accordance with the company’s templates and reporting guidelines. All reports must be legible, timely and free from any ambiguity

• To support the Operations Manager in piloting new initiatives or programmes for customers exercising reasonable flexibility if required to travel outside your designated geographic territory

Knowledge, Experience & Qualification:

• Minimum of five years previous experience in formal vehicle electronic repair/diagnosis

• City & City Level 3 or an NVQ Level 3 in Auto Electric or Equipment & Circuits

• Preferably be a member of the IMI or IRTE

• Minimum of five years’ experience in 12V & 24V Including Fault Finding

• CITO LV/ELV Systems Minimum five years experience

• Have a minimum of five years CITO Electrical Inspections Test

• Onboard with DEKRA via a LTD company or Umbrella Company

• Meet DEKRA minimum insurance requirements

• Motor Trade Road Risk Insurance is preferred but not essential

You must also be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Delivering excellent customer service

• Accurate Report writing and time management

• Sounds Judgement and decision making

• Excellent Communication skills

• Meticulous Analysis of information

• Team player who can work independently

Essential Requirements

You will be required to have a full driving licence. Your own vehicle with business insurance and the minimum qualifications outlined above.

The successful candidate will be required to provide their own tools and equipment to carry out Auto Electrical Inspections.
