We are now recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist to support the management systems aims in driving performance in QHSE by establishing, implementing and maintaining standards, alongside ensuring continued compliance.
As our Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the company’s ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 management systems.
- Maintaining QHSE documentation, creating and reviewing risk assessments, policies and procedures.
- Maintaining spreadsheets and other documentation to support the performance reporting requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures by conducting internal audits and preparing audit reports.
- Supporting investigation of injuries, incidents, near misses and driving implementation of corrective actions.
- Supporting all departments to ensure QHSE training records are identified, implemented and maintained.
- Aid the QHS Manager in the continued maintenance of ISO certifications and client commitments.
- Promoting a positive quality, healthy, safe and environmentally friendly culture throughout the company.
In order to be successful in this role it would be great if you had:
- At least one years’ experience in QHSE management, gaining knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 or ISO45001 standards.
- NEBOSH / ISOH Qualified.
- Internal ISO Auditor (preferable).
- Passion for quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong IT skills, especially with MS Office applications.
- Ability to solve problems and execute solutions to problems / issues identified.
- Self-motivated and able to plan and manage own workload.
