The Role
As a Used Car Area Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with Audi retailer management teams to improve used car sales performance and quality metrics.
Your role will involve:
· Building strong relationships with retailers and brand field teams to drive sales and quality outcomes.
· Conducting business reviews, analysing KPIs, and developing SMART action plans.
· Advising on stock management, marketing effectiveness, and presentation standards.
· Coaching teams on process improvement, lead management, and customer experience.
· Ensuring compliance with the Audi Approved Used Dealer Agreement.
About You
We’re looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on coaching. You’ll bring:
· Proven ability to influence, engage and coach diverse stakeholders.
· Strong understanding of used car sales operations and best practice.
· Commercial and financial awareness to support operational and management-level decisions.
· Experience of developing and implementing retailer marketing strategies.
It would be an advantage if you also had:
· A track record of capitalising on commercial opportunities in local and national markets.
· Excellent numeracy, literacy and digital skills.

· Analysing claim data and provide actionable insights.
· Collaborating closely with the Claims Manager and DAF Trucks UK team.
· Delivering outstanding customer service and build positive relationships.
· Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Play a Key Role in Supporting Used Truck Sales for a Leading Automotive Brand!
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HGV Used Vehicle Technical Specialist to join DEKRA Automotive, supporting our client’s Used Truck business.
In this pivotal role, you’ll assess returning used vehicles, oversee inspection processes, and ensure that all technical assessments and recharges are fair, accurate, and professionally handled.
You’ll also work closely with customers, workshops, and internal teams — combining your technical truck knowledge with a commercial and customer-focused approach.
What You’ll Do
· Support Used Truck Sales by managing inspection reports, assessing recharges, and ensuring fair and transparent vehicle evaluations.
· Work closely with third-party workshops to maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and technical quality in inspection reporting.
· Act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting high-volume customers with return scheduling, pre-inspections, and technical queries.
· Resolve disputes fairly and efficiently, representing the best interests of the Used Truck business.
· Collaborate with the sales, finance, and end-of-contract teams to ensure smooth communication and effective forecasting of vehicle returns.
· Contribute to continuous improvement, supporting DEKRA’s commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency across all operations.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a strong communicator and technically skilled professional with a good understanding of HGVs and used vehicle assessment. You’ll enjoy balancing technical detail with commercial awareness — ensuring the best outcome for both customers and the business.
Essential skills and experience:
· City & Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Studies or equivalent
· Strong technical knowledge of HGV maintenance and inspection
· Valid HGV Class 1 licence
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good working knowledge of Excel (Truckfile or Keyloop experience an advantage)
· Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently

We are looking for experienced Vehicle Inspection Engineers to work with us on a self-employed basis, conducting high-quality vehicle inspections across Shrewsbury, Wrexham, and Ludlow!
The Role
As a Self-Employed Vehicle Inspection Engineer, you will carry out a variety of inspection types — including pre-purchase inspections and warranty evaluations — to the highest possible standard. You will work to pre-arranged appointments coordinated by our Stokenchurch-based deployment team, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Completing thorough, accurate vehicle inspections in line with company standards.
· Producing detailed, unambiguous inspection reports using company templates.
· Maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
· Supporting pilot programmes and new customer initiatives when required.
· Travelling within your designated area and occasionally beyond when necessary.
About You
· We’re looking for skilled technical professionals with:
· A minimum of 7 years’ experience in formal vehicle maintenance, servicing, or MOT.
· City & Guilds Level 3 or HNC/HND equivalent qualification (IMI or IRTE membership desirable).
· Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
· The ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate reports.
· A methodical, analytical approach to inspections and decision making.
You must also have:
· A clean UK driving licence, your own transport with business use insurance
· Your own tools, and equipment in good working order.
· A limited company with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
