We now have an incredibly exciting opportunity for ESG Consultants to join us on an associate basis and assume responsibility for managing a number of clients at any one time through the various elements of the ESG process.
In addition to this as our ESG Consultant you will be responsible for:
· Be the subject matter expert for all aspects of ESG.
· Manage clients through the ESG process to a point of Compliance (Certification).
· Identify how our offer can be continuously improved.
· Identify other opportunities to deliver services within the Sustainability Services area.
· Provide support to Customer to maximise their EcoVadis rating either for the first time or at point of renewal.
· Keep abreast of UK legislation, industry and market trends, competition, best practices, and emerging issues related to ESG and other sustainability services
· Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with DEKRA's policies and procedures.
· Demonstrate a personal commitment to DEKRA UK’s Environmental & Quality Management System.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
· Bachelor's degree in a sustainability services-related area, such as, environmental science, sustainability, or related field.
· Two years of commercial/customer facing experience in sustainability, environmental management, or related fields is essential.
· A deep understanding of all aspects of the ESG subject.
· Consulting and or Auditing experience is desirable.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to ESG and related sustainability services.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are important for effectively communicating to clients but also internal stakeholders.
· Experience with EcoVadis is also desirable.
· Experience in environmental risk assessments, ESG due diligence, product carbon foot printing, or EHS frameworks is highly desirable.
· Certification in the field of sustainability is an advantage.
· A limited company with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance aligned with DEKRA’s minimum requirements or onboard through an umbrella company.

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HGV Used Vehicle Technical Specialist to join DEKRA Automotive, supporting our client’s Used Truck business.
In this pivotal role, you’ll assess returning used vehicles, oversee inspection processes, and ensure that all technical assessments and recharges are fair, accurate, and professionally handled.
You’ll also work closely with customers, workshops, and internal teams — combining your technical truck knowledge with a commercial and customer-focused approach.
What You’ll Do
· Support Used Truck Sales by managing inspection reports, assessing recharges, and ensuring fair and transparent vehicle evaluations.
· Work closely with third-party workshops to maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and technical quality in inspection reporting.
· Act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting high-volume customers with return scheduling, pre-inspections, and technical queries.
· Resolve disputes fairly and efficiently, representing the best interests of the Used Truck business.
· Collaborate with the sales, finance, and end-of-contract teams to ensure smooth communication and effective forecasting of vehicle returns.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a strong communicator and technically skilled professional with a good understanding of HGVs and used vehicle assessment. You’ll enjoy balancing technical detail with commercial awareness — ensuring the best outcome for both customers and the business.
Essential skills and experience:
· City & Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Studies or equivalent
· Strong technical knowledge of HGV maintenance and inspection
· Valid HGV Class 1 licence
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good working knowledge of Excel (Truckfile or Keyloop experience an advantage)
· Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently

About You

· Understanding of Audatex and/or VDA qualifications would be an advantage (not essential).
