Green Card

Claims handling services under the Green Card Scheme as set out in the Internal Regulations of the Council of Bureaux

Victims of a road traffic accident in their country of residence involving a vehicle registered in another participating country can claim compensation under the Green Card System operated by their national Motor Insurers’ Bureau, which guarantees visiting motorists the minimum compulsory insurance cover required by the law of the country visited.
All insurers participating in the System must nominate a correspondent in each country covered by the System.
DEKRA Claims Services UK Ltd can act as your correspondent. The DEKRA Group has experience in dealing with Green Card accident claims going back to when this System was first established in the early 1950s.
